One of this seasons biggest trends is a print that refuses to go away.........Leopard.

With graphic leopard prints, oversized jackets, this collection from Moschino Cheap & Chic was no "hidden tiger". Rock and roll meets Milan punk chic.
About:
Founded by Franco Moschino in 1988, Cheap and Chic is the diffusion line of Moschino. The youthful collections are fun, vibrant and irreverent.
Since Franco Moschino's death in 1994, Rossella Jardini has worked as it's creative director.
THE POWER OF THE PRINT.
This time it reigns throughout the"cat"walks bigger, better and somehow fresher.
I am always looking for items to add to the wardrobe, that have a designer feel but without the hefty price tag.
And here are a few little gems, and their designer lookalikes that I have found. They won't break the bank, but will inject a bit animal fever into your style this winter.
Get your paws on these.......

New Look faux Fur leopard print jacket. Run like a cheetah to get your hands on this little bargain Was £39.99 Now £25

My VHM (Very Handsome Man) tries, but hasn't quite realised, it can't all go in at "90" degrees........He does like to get things clean. Bless Him!!!
Choose your spots carefully leopard print bikini bottoms River Island £5

I really appreciate your honesty here....it is a look that some people really don't like, but maybe just a tiny, tiny, clutch could be your nod to it this season! xx
DeleteLovely finding your blog and to read you live in the gorgeous Cotswolds :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the pieces you selected. I have never bought a piece of clothing in animal print. Everything I have is an accessory. So LOVE the clutch bags you showcase.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments over at mine. Don't be a stranger-do come visit again ;-)

DeleteYou are right - animal print is just as strong as ever and I particularly like it on accessories - bags and scarves in particular. I like the way you have included items to suit all budgets.

I think you have to be quite brave to do head to toe, but if you can pull it off, why not?! I shall prob just get a coat, and the shoes I have already. But will wear separately with black or camel! xx
DeleteI don;t know why I'm having such a hard time with animal print anything...it's like it's been done to death. On the other hand, I absolutely love the coats in your last post and those look like classics which have been around for millions of year, (marginal exaggeration) Oh well, maybe animal prints are just not for me. ;)
ReplyDeleteLeopard print is a love or hate thing, I think. You are right it has been around forever, I think of as a colour now, rather than a design?! xx

DeleteI've never been a huge fan of animal print but those heels you've got are just gorgeous, might have to purchase a pair for myself... xx
ReplyDeleteOh, Sophie I know what you mean....Animal print does have so many connotations, i.e Bet Lynch etc, that its hard to get your head around. But a touch can look really cool....I reckon rough it up a bit, with everything else pared back....then you might just like it a little bit?? xxxx
