I bought this in the black version, a few weeks ago, and the quality is absolutely superb. It feels like a really luxurious fabric, even though its man made! I went up "two" sizes, which gives it a more masculine, current edge..... I am now waiting (very impatiently) for my size in the ivory to come back in store.  If you are passing by H&M pop in and give it a go. I don't think you will be disappointed!

  1. What a good idea to size up a couple of sizes to get that mannish look. With slightly tailored jackets, I always think they need to fit you perfectly. Which means I shall be heading to the shops to have a play with sizing.

And as for the creamy white palettes. I love them as they actually really stand out on me - much more than coloured brights. And so so chic.

  2. So many gorgeous pieces - love what you found!! I have a few blazers from H&M and I am so impressed with the quality. Zara nails the trends every season, the skirts are so beautiful and I love the style. I have been wanting to pick up the Naked basics palette for while, it's nice to have something w/o sparkle for a change :)

  6. Hello Helen - thanks so much for popping by to comment at Dolliedaydream - I don't get as much time as I would like to blog these days with a boisterous two year old.

I love your selection. All those creams and off white colours are actually my preferred choice over black. I don't really do black too much but I always opt for creams, especially in jumpers and coats. Especially love the River Island one x

  7. I've always been a fan of winter white and cream at this time of year and the Topshop slouchy sweater is perfect. I think I may jist have to treat myself to the nude Armani polish too.

  10. Hi Helen, I love absolutely everything in this post! I'd love to wear more winter white but for some reason it doesn't look quite as classy on me! (could have something to do with running around after a grubby toddler...) x

  13. Nice post and lovely trend. The only thing that concerns me is that I have a tendency to spill stuff, so I am not sure the trend is for me, due to that...
