There's no doubt that the 70's fashion flame is burning brighter
than ever for AW15. And nobody to my mind does bohemian nonchalance better than Chloe.
With her folksy, feminine and softly flirtatious style, the Chloe girl has always been a secret weakness of mine. There are still the touches of lace, softly plunged necklines and pretty flowing dresses, but I'm seasonally affected how this girl has toughened up......Tailored mannish greatcoats, gentleman's checks, waistcoats, wide cuffed pants, and skinny neck ties.
They call the seventies the era that style forgot, but with Chloe's modern interpretations, and my allegiance to the decade, I practically feel obliged to seek out my inner gentlewoman this season.
So many gorgeous pieces Helen, I could quite happily wear most of this. Luckily for me & my bank balance there's a few very similar pieces I've spotted on the high street.

It's just such a wearable label, and as you say Jane lots of inspired pieces on the high street, which is definitely where I will be new season hunting too! xx
DeleteJust when I think these trends aren't doable....I can now see how I might be able to translate this some way with what I currently have!! Love the neck tie...such an easy way to add something to an outfit! Superb inspiration Helen! xx
ReplyDeleteI know, I'm sure we all have goodies in the wardrobe that can go towards getting this look together, and as you say those neck ties......reckon I'll raid the other half's tie selection to see what I can pinch! xx
DeleteSince Philo, I have always adored Chloe collections. This one is no exception. Such beautifully crafted pieces.
ReplyDeleteThank you xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Glenda, I love how the collection really celebrates femininity and being a woman, and still has a great strength to it! If my lottery ever comes in a Chloe wardrobe would be top of my hit list!! xx
