All that glitters is not always gold.......
Shimmers, sequins and streetwear shine are a major trend.

The key to making it work for you, is juxtaposition.

Pair metallics with this seasons hero piece a 'chunky knit', or go military style with khaki.

Metallics and sequins are wardrobe must have's.
Work the look with oversized cashmere and heels for night, and a crisp white shirt and trainers for day.

A good friend of mine say's when she is feeling tired, that a bit of sparkle and a slick of red lippy, makes her ready to face the world.......

Worth a try!

 Go forth and shine.......

    1. I love this skirt and it looks so good in the flesh......you could easily put it in a designer price bracket, but hate the cap on the model.....Why would you do that? Helen xx

  4. Ah-ha Helen....this is where my plan could go seriously off-piste!! Love the Zara silver flats and the DP sequin skirt is amazing but the one thing I don't think I can live without for the up and coming party season is the New Look premium sequinned top....how totally fabulous! Superb picks as always xx

  5. I love that first H&M sequinned skirt - the colours are lovely on that but if only I had the legs to carry it off and anywhere to go in it too. Two strikes against already - gah! And the Zara sequinned jacket - my niece has that one and it is lovely but very fragile. She tried about 5 before she found her perfect one.

And that little jumpsuit at the end, courted some controversy didn't it? Due to the styling on their tv campaign as it very similar to some women's army outfit and it caused an outcry that it was very disrespectful.

    1. I know Sue short skirts and legs are always a dilemma, but with opaques and toning footwear it could work for you maybe?
