 Craving shades of Pinot Noir right now, comes in the form of Acne studios Jensen burgundy suede boots (you can tell it's the weekend, when the grape get's mentioned). 

But, with my credit card currently indisposed to any major purchases right now, cue Asos' perfectly timed look-alikey boots. 

Consoling myself that crossing to the dark side with an autumnal colour spin on my usual 'Black Friday', has saved me a whooping amount of spondoolies, might just mean cracking open a bottle of the fine wine to celebrate.......

Mr N-A-D will be pleased on both counts!

TREND WATCH AW15 | THAT CHLOE GIRL

There's no doubt that the 70's fashion flame is burning brighter 

than ever for AW15. And nobody to my mind does bohemian nonchalance better than Chloe. 

With her folksy, feminine and softly flirtatious style, the Chloe girl has always been a secret weakness of mine. There are still the touches of lace, softly plunged necklines and pretty flowing dresses, but I'm seasonally affected how this girl has toughened up......Tailored mannish greatcoats, gentleman's checks, waistcoats, wide cuffed pants, and skinny neck ties. 

They call the seventies the era that style forgot, but with Chloe's modern interpretations, and my allegiance to the decade, I practically feel obliged to seek out my inner gentlewoman this season.
